Our Story
As law students with a deep interest in international law, we founded the Legally Right Podcast out of a shared passion for justice and equality. Our journey took an incredible turn when we had the unique opportunity to attend the 88th session of the CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women) conference at the United Nations in Geneva. CEDAW is a landmark treaty aimed at eliminating discrimination against women and promoting gender equality globally.
Attending the CEDAW conference was the opportunity of a lifetime, allowing us to witness firsthand the intricate processes of international legal frameworks and the vital discussions surrounding women's rights. Engaging with experts and advocates from around the world, we gained invaluable insights into the challenges and triumphs in the fight for gender equality. This experience fuelled our commitment to making complex legal concepts accessible and engaging for a broader audience.
